Two master suites. 1st master has king canopy bed with walkout balcony, bath includes double sinks, nickel faucets, double mirrors, frameless shower doors an granite counters. 2nd master has king bed and walkout balcony. Twin beds furnish the 3rd br. All new bedding. New kitchen has maple wood cabinets, undermount stainless sink, nickel faucets, granite counters, stainless appliances w/ french door refrigerator.

New pendant lighting surrounds the breakfast area. Tropical barstools compliment the bar. New Leather sofa and flat screen TV w/ DVD. Italian travertine porcelain tile throughout. Just a couple of small things. That could be addressed easily. The TV system could use some updating, I don't think it even had a digital box. We would rather pay a little more in the monthly rate and have long distance included with the rental. The furniture on the balcony is in need of replacing, It was in pretty bad shape and not very attractive. It is a lovely condo, these upgrades would make it even better.

We enjoyed our stay in FL (1/2-1/30-2010) and the Crimson across from John's Pass. We were here for some very cold weather. Did not use the pool until Jan 19. It was a nice pool, but took a long time to warm up because of the wind tunnel under the building which kept it much cooler than the pool at the condo next to us. The whirlpool was much too hot, so did not use that until we had them turn it down. The condo was cool when it was cold outside, because of the ceramic floor. The bathrooms got mold in the showers after a couple of weeks. We got a brush form the office and cleaned them ourselves. This was a great location-food-entertainment-shopping all right across the street. Waltz Fish Shack was a great place in the pass to eat. The condo was plenty big for us and our kids and grandkids-6 of us was perfect. Having 3 bathrooms was a real luxury. Furniture was very nice and we liked it that it was not decorated much-so we did not have to worry about stuff getting broke. Kitchen was very nice with upgraded appliances. Alice Matson

Great Beach Escape

We just spent a wonderful week at Crimson #203 and had a great time. This 3 bedroom / 3 bath was ideal for my husband & I, my brother and his wife and 2 teenagers. The beach is just a short walk away and St John's Pass offers many restaurants and shops. It was fun to stroll through the shops. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was ideal, so we were able to wash our beach towels and clothes. Don't forget the laundry detergent, napkins, paper towels. You will also need to bring your own beach towels. The view from the balcony was nice but it did over look the pool next door. If you need a smaller unit, there are 2 bedroom ones that directly face the beach. We had a great time! Enjoy.

Wonderful Stay on the Beach

My family and I spent a week at the Crimson and have stayed before. The location is great - right across from Johns Pass and the beach is beautiful. What we really liked about this unit was all the room. It is very spacious with two master bedrooms & baths. There were six of us and we never felt crowded. We did have an issue with the floors. Although they looked to be clean, they weren't and the bottoms of our feet & socks were black from walking on the floors. Still, we had a lovely time and will definitely stay again. I hope the floor issue will be taken care of. I'm sure a good cleaning would help.

Great for a family reunion

We recently stayed in #203 of Crimson. Our entire family stayed in the condo(son,daughter-in-law,grandson,daughter,son-in-law,granddaughter,my husband and myself. We really enjoyed our vacation. There was ample dishes, utensils and towels. Since there were 3 families under 1 roof an extra set of keys would have been helpful.Also a roll of paper towels would have come in handy with 2 grand children. We would also have liked to have a pen and paper handy for notes and grocery lists. We were told that there was a DVD player at the condo but there was not one there. All in all, we had a great time and would go back again. So close to the beach and John's Pass.

We have stayed at Crimson on many occasions. This is the first time I have been asked to write a review. I must say that our stay is always the best. Our SunHost property people always make our stay seem like home. Every amenity that we enjoy at home is usually found in our condo. The accommodations are always spotless and well-maintained. The area that we come to has become our No 1 Florida destination. Every year when we make Florida our destination SunHost is our only stop on the internet for reservations We love everyone at SunHost and can't wait to get back.

Beautiful Beach View

The condo was very nice and the view was wonderful. We enjoyed the beach and the pool every day. The water heater broke during our stay and it took three days to get it fixed. Luckily we knew other people staying there so we could go and shower in their condos. The second night the management gave us a key to another condo to use the hot water. The first night we couldn't get anyone to help us. Instead of giving us those two nights free, they gave us back $100 in cash. We were not at all impressed with management but the beach and pool were great. Sadly, we will not go back there.

The condo was very nice - updated furnishings. Everything was clean. The kitchen could use a few more supples and utensils. We were a little disappointed in the pool which is very small. Otherwise it was a great week. We loved the convenience to John's Pass and the new Bubba Gump Seafood Restaurant was right across the street. We plan to stay there again.

We rent from Sunhost regularly. They have friendly staff and things always go great. We loved this condo - it was bright and beautiful with great views. The pool and hot tub were fantastic too.

We have stayed in Unit 203 many times before as well as many of your other units. We've been staying at the Crimson since it was built and we love it there. We really do like Unit 203. The main complaint I have had the last couple of years is that the two sofas in the living room definitely need to be replaced and I have shared that concern with the management the last couple of times we've stayed there. The blinds in the living room and two master bedrooms were getting in pretty bad shape the last couple of times we've been there. Other than that, everything else is great and I have no other complaints. The outside maintenance was pretty bad for a few years but that had improved greatly the last time we were there. We'll be coming again in two weeks for a two week stay and are looking forward to it. Sure do hope those sofas have been replaced but if not, we'll live with it. See you soon.

Every year my family comes down from Michigan to see my daughter's dance recital and then we go to the beach for a week. We love Madiera because it is right across from John's Pass. Last year we stayed at Sandy Shores and it was Gross!We had to clean it before we could even stay in it!! My sister in law stays every year at Cromson and recommended it, so we gave it a try. What a difference!! Nice, huge, and clean!! The washer and dryer came in so handy too, needless to say, It's the Crimson every year...
