Great family time in a great family place!!!

Reviewed on Thursday, March 17, 2011

Years ago our teenage daughter wanted to go to the beach w/friends for Easter vacation. We didn't want her subjected to a lot of the stuff that goes on so we decided to find a place and go as a family. We found Beach Place at Madiera Beach and loved it so much that we take all our family every other year or so. We have four grown daughters and rent a condo for each one. They fill the condos with family and friends and we all have a ball. This is a great place because of all the activities at John's Pass and the location of Beach Place is the best. Sun Host has always given us the greatest of care and service while there and we look forward to many more years of vacation through them.

Great place to stay

We have stayed several years here and have a great time. The location to John's Pass and the beach is great. We plan to keep returning.

beautiful scenery

Madeira Beach was very nice. The location of Beach Rental properties is great, esp. being near the fishing area. My son loved that. I would have liked our condo to have a clean carpet. It was quite dirty. I would have also liked the sliding door and screen to have been in better shape. Both hard to slide on the track. I felt as if the over all customer service by the property management could have been friendlier and explained what the heck was going on there esp. for the first time renter. An after hour number is needed for the renter in case something goes wrong. WE had trouble with our door locks locking to easliy, therefore having rooms locked. I explained to the management that even if we did have little kids with us who may have been playing with the button on the locks, the whole thing was a safety issue. They seemed to have had this problem before but could tell it was "oh well." A beautful place, but needed some cleaning. Thanks.

Relax and Enjoy

This is a wonderful place to relax. Water all around and a beautiful view of the ocean (and we saw dolphins from our balcony, too) from the fourth floor. The rooms were big, the condo was clean and we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. (Shopping is real close, too)

Very clean,up to date; great size. We had our two married children/spouses and grand-baby with us and couldn't ask for a better time. The condo, beach, location was perfect, the view amazing!! Great family vacation none of us will ever forget.

Everything was exactly as described. Very clean and everything worked. We had no issues at all with anything in the condo. We would definitely stay again.Location was very convenient to John's Pass.

Centrally located beachfront condo

Reviewed on Thursday, October 23, 2008

The large, well equipped beachfront condo was centrally located along the St. Pete Beach/Madeira Beach area, right at Saint John's Pass with lots of walk to restaurant and shops including the new Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant. The rental co. reimbursed us for two nights spent away on account of mandatory evacuation for Hurrican Faye which missed the area anyway. They seemed concerned about our whereabouts and well being.

Beautiful Condo, Very Noisy

The inside of the unit was nice and very clean. The kitchen was better equipped than any other place we have ever rented. The view from the unit is now my screen saver. It was beautiful... On the flip side, the older bridge right outside my unit was being demolished. It started at 7:10 every morning, even on Saturday. Around 7am Thursday morning we also had 2 tractors drive by dragging chains that sweep the sand on the beach. You can hear the bridge traffic until about midnight when it dies down and the music coming from John's Pass. If I had earplugs I would have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. When I talked to the rental manager a couple of weeks after my stay and mentioned the noise, he didn't offer any way to make up for the unexpected noises (future discount, etc..) He just said they will be going on for about 1 more year.
