The health of our guests, owners, and community is our top priority during this uncertain time. Regulations are changing daily, and the message to practice social distancing is clear. Sunhost Resorts is fully committed to promoting public health during this uncertain time.

Can I Come to Stay at The Beach?

YES! We are open and taking reservations. Please call 1-800-741-4678 or book right here! We are running some great specials, check them out here.

    Exception: If you are traveling from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or Louisiana: We can accommodate you, however the State of Florida states that "individuals traveling from those areas must self-quarantine/isolate for 14 days from the time of entry into the State of Florida or the duration of presence in the state, whichever is shorter". What If I Need To Cancel?

COVID-19 Temporary Payment & Cancellation Policies for existing and new bookings made for arrival May 1 to June 20, 2020.  

  • No Fee Rollover of your reservation to an alternate date, in the same unit if possible, within 365 days
  • Final payment not due until 7 days prior to arrival
  • Refunds will be given for cancellations up to 7 days prior to arrival ( less $85 fee )

What Cleaning Precautions are Being Taken?

  • SunHost staff have enhanced the cleaning procedures to follow CDC & WHO guidelines and recommendations for cleaning. Details Here.
  • All SunHost staff are practicing social distancing and following CDC guidelines

What Is Open Along The Gulf Beaches?

As of Friday May 29, when observing social distancing:

  • All SunHost Resort units are open and available for arrival immediately.
  • Beaches are open in Pinellas County
  • Pools at most SunHost Resorts are open at 50% bathing load through May 31 2020 and 100% June 1 2020 . Exceptions: Madeira Norte & Sandy Shores pools are closed until 6-1-2020
  • Restaurants are allowed to be open at 50% capacity indoors, and maximum capacity outdoors
  • Movie Theatres, bowling alleys are allowed to open at 50% capacity
  • Hair & Nail Salons are allowed to open by appointment only
  • All Retail Stores are allowed to open at 50% capacity
  • Gyms etc. are open at 50% capacity
  • Bars that derive less than 50% of revenue from food are closed for now
  • All local parks are open. Playgrounds & Amusement parks remain closed at this time.
