The actual unit is very nice, however after vacationing at Beach Place for the past 25+ years, I found that the management of the building has gone downhill. The property isn't cleaned daily as it used to be, not even half the amount of pool chairs/loungers at the pool needed to accomodate the amount of people. All kinds of outsiders in the pool area (I hear they never change the entry code anymore). Kids whipping footballs in the pool, hitting other guests. No enforcement of rules (got hit with water being poured over balconies 3 times). No flexibility with early /late check in/out. Pool washroom is dirty and wet all the time and not checked during the day. The pool shower water barely trickles. A broken clock at the pool wasn't replaced showing the wrong time all day. Recycle bins are always overflowing and messy. They call themselves a 'resort' however NO one on site before 9am or after 5pm. The teenage/university kids are loud and cause nusances in the evening and you have to deal with with or call an "emergency number". Many nights it was like staying at a frat house. They are literally condo units with a pool now. No pride in their work. Building custodians spend more than 1/2 their day in the shaded parking area chatting. After 25 years I have never been so disappointed in the management of this property.

It's great to enjoy the beach and Madeira Beach. There is more than enough to do in this area. We like to come again. (Without a hurricane)

Small tiny ants all over stove and counter. No food left out on counter .we kept any snacks in refrigerator. Hair found in bed sheets and nubby sheets. Old carpet in bedrooms. Brown gunk around sink . Quiet - conveniently located. Elevators very slow - used stairs .

Despite encountering our first beach vacation with a tropical storm turned hurricane, our beach rental was great! Everything we needed and relaxing for our day spent in the condo due to the weather. The office staff are so friendly!

We have been coming to Beach Place Condos for years. Unit 101 was one of the nicest and clean unit we have been in. Being on the first floor was very convenient too.

Pros - Great location. You don't need to drive much because every thing is so close. Right on the beach. Pool was nice, tables and chairs down at the pool were comfy. Added touch that there is some tables with umbrella huts for shade. The condo is large and very open. Kitchen had most things we needed (no pizza cutter but a knife worked). Couches and two of the beds were comfy for lounging and sleeping. They had our room ready early and called to let us know and was much appreciated.
Cons- They "additional items" you might expect are less than you would find in a hotel or Airbnb. No paper towel or napkins, no coffee or coffee filters, no salt and pepper or any spices etc. Not a huge deal but def plan on purchasing those things if you are going to cook in the unit. Biggest let down was 2 of the 4 beds. The first room's beds are unsleepable. One of our guests tried to sleep in one and said she would have rather slept on the floor. Could really use new ones. The sliding glass door didn't look like it had been cleaned in a few stays and the one side table was dirty but otherwise the cleanliness was pretty good.

Would come back and would recommend for all the pros!

We loved the condo. It was very convenient to everything. The only issue was the beds. They were horrible!!! That is the only thing that would keep us from renting this condo again. Other than that it was great.

Great location and nice room! No beach chairs or beach towels, so had to buy them here than giveaway at end of trip. Also range elements were all messed up so they wouldn’t sit flat, making cooking difficult. Having no guest parking is not great either.

These are all minor issues though, the place was clean and very convenient being a first floor and unit. We would recommend.

This is our 7th stay at this location. Units are always clean and well appointed. The location near John's Pass is exceptional. The weather was mostly pleasant, the only problem was with the "Red Tide"

We had a great time as usual we’ve been coming here for the past 20 years every other year to experience our family reunion.
I see that The public parking lot activity at night has changed I guess that’s that new age. We have another trip planned 17 July to beach place and I’m sure we will have another great time.

I believe in the spare bathroom it could use a stopper in the sink and the water pressure seemed a little slow there but the shower had good pressure. Over all is was a nice place.

Unit clear, well appointed. We had the idea that the unit faced the beach and Gulf, but that was not the case.

The condo is in a great location. It is well maintained and nicely furnished. And the unit is just steps away from the beach and heated pool.

The people in the unit above ours were insanely loud every single day, all day long. They were constantly moving furniture. It sounded like thunder. We had friends over and they thought there was construction going on above us. We had a pretty bad ant problem in the kitchen. Ants all over the counter tops and stove. One of the showers was moldy. The maid at the end of our stay was super rude. The people in the office told us that we did not need to empty the refrigerator because the maids usaully take whatever is left. Our maid yelled at my husband and our friend's daughter when they tried to take some of our food out of the fridge. She told them she threw out everything and said she didn't want our nasty food and was in fact upset that we thought she would want it. We liked the area and the building, but we will probably not stay at this place again.

We loved our rental great layout and bed were fine. Kitchen was a nice size and had all that we needed my only complaint is the frying pans needed replacement has eggs stuck and broke. I did wish they had washer and dryer but it was right down the hall. Enjoyed our stay!

Once again we are so pleased to be able to stay at this wonderful facility. It is so close to so many entities and is always clean. I have also found that if there is a problem, there are on top of it! I have no complaints and we are already looking forward to our stay next year!!!

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment. Very comfortable and clean. Only a few things I felt should have been in the apartment like paper towel, coffee filters,and maybe a bath mat for the tub floor. Everything else seemed to be included. We will come back.

Place was nice, clean and good location. Only be aware of is unit only has one parking spot and you have to work and pay for the second.
