We are long time vacationers at Surf Song booked with Sunhost. This year was a different year for sure. Madeira Beach & surrounding areas suffered 2 back to back hurricanes 6 months ago. They have been working tirelessly to get all units back up and the grounds repaired. They really have done a remarkable job. While the vacation was not always tranquil due to construction we certainly understood it. The upgrades that are happening due to the destruction are beautiful. Enjoy you time at Surf Song & experience “Old Florida” at its finest. A+ to Surf Song & Sunhost! See you next year!

Love the location, unfortunately my unit the owner just seems not to keep up the inside, out dated, furniture is old , dirty and worn out no support left in the cushions. The mattress needs to be replaced and the carpet is horrible. And I do believe that the pool gate should have a key code on it to stop beach people from coming in and using it as their own as a bathroom and bath themselves I myself have had some very rude people yelling at me and using foul language which I think could have been avoided if they just couldn't open the gate to get into the pool area they would have to hop the fence.

The entire bottom floor had sadly been ruined in the hurricanes, so they weren't being rented, but the 2nd floor was fine. We were surprised that the pool was in operation, as many of the other resorts had had their pools ruined in the hurricanes.

The rental experience was very pleasant, somewhat confusing waiting on other people to see if they are renew their rental for next year but getting to understand now.

This is our 6th year coming and we always have an amazing time. This Unit/property, the area, beach, restaurants - everything! Also, a plug in for Lisa's Cafe - AMAZING service, food, and prices. You must go see her and the restaurant.

The security lights were right outside the bedroom window -- to room was never really dark. The condo was noisy -- I am guessing the constant humming and buzzing was from the A/C units on the roof. The living room furniture could use an update -- it was not comfortable to sit on. On the positive side we loved the easy access to the beach and the view of the beach from right outside of our room. Being directly across the street from John's Pass is a real plus for us. In 2022 we stayed in Condo 223 which we would consider renting again.

We love staying at Surf Song Resort! The convenience of the location to the beach, Gulf and Johns Pass is a bonus.

We had TV switch, remote and fan problems.Once we brought these to the Staff's attention, all was corrected within the hour. However, Air Vents are very dirty. I will not tell friends,it is too hard to reserve dates now. Let's keep it a secret

We had a great stay at this vaction rental. Perfect size, clean, convenient. Get out to the beach early if you want to rent chairs and an umbrella.

However over the last few years we have noticed a decline in the overall condition of the unit. It is definitely in need of some TLC and some updates. The interior side of the front door needs a coat of paint. The couch is dingy and very worn. The mattresses are not comfortable at all and the living room definitely needs a BIGGER TV.
