Good vacation spot and close to StJohns Pass

Great place
Reviewed on 2022-08-01 by Miriam H. , Lexington, KY United StatesVery clean. Beds and seating all were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would need. Really nice spacious rooms.
Perfect 2nd Home
Reviewed on 2022-05-10 by Shannon D. , Buffalo, MN United StatesThis unit is a perfectly acceptable place to lay your vacationing head. Its location and size are perfect. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen adequately stocked, and it has both a drip and single coffee maker. My kids asked if we could move in! The only thing missing is a dehumidifier - the towels take extra long to hang dry.
Great Location
Reviewed on 2022-05-02 by , Harrisburg, PA United StatesThe spot was great, and the beach is a few steps away. The property was clean and the staff nice. The room was dated, but adequate for all of the other positives. Definitely needs extra pillows and blankets. This is not owned by an individual, but by the location, so no personal touch.

Very disappointed
Reviewed on 2022-03-09 by , Brewerton, NY United StatesFirst let me say positive things. The location of the resort is great. In unit 230 the kitchen was well appointed, the furniture was okay, and the mattresses were fine. These positives were overshadowed by the dirty stained rugs in the bedrooms, the rusty and moldy bathroom fixtures and the stained bar stool seats. I would not recommend this unit to anyone
Surfsong is my favorite place to stay when I’m in Saintpete!
Reviewed on 2022-01-07 by Sherry W. , Wasilla , AK United StatesWe loved our room. Was a little smaller than I expected but met our needs just fine. One thing I loved is the room had plenty of dresser space. It was very clean and comfy. Love that it’s close to Johns Pass. It’s close to plenty of restaurants also. We always stay at Surfsong Resort when we’re in SaintPete Florida. Looking forward to our next vacation there.
Great location, great price
Reviewed on 2021-10-18 by , Oshkosh, WI United StatesEverything was fantastic including the condo, pool area, beach access and location. Great restaurants, bars and shopping directly across the street. Our A/C stopped working during our stay, but was promptly fixed after I reported it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downfalls were dirty carpet in bedroom doorway, and you have to take out your own trash.

Great Beach Stay
Reviewed on 2021-04-19 by Rhonda B. , Vinton, Oh United StatesThe place was clean. We even had the routine bed bug and pesticide inspection during our visit. 2 couples and we loved each having our own bedrooms and bathrooms. It was such a great location. Pool was warm. Quiet place. We will return.

Adequate
Reviewed on 2021-04-12 by Jeff M. , Grandville, MI United StatesInitially we thought the place seemed old and run-down, but were pleasantly surprised at how CLEAN the room was. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully functional. If you want a cheap place to stay on the beach, this is it. However my wife and I will to be returning for a few reasons: It's very dark (nothing like the photo), there's no table so you have to east at the bar on rickety bar stools. The staff was friendly, but would not give us an extra hour to check out (late checkout). If you have kids using the pool, they will be hassled by the "regulars" and owners. The pool area is nice and the pool is heated.

Spring break 2021
Reviewed on 2021-03-22 by , Indianapolis, IN United StatesGreat location, pool and friendly staff. Room was nice and had all of the kitchen essentials. The mattress in both rooms are hard as rocks, so be prepared for a backache every morning. No extras like beach toys and chairs, no extra pillows or blankets either.
Could be better
Reviewed on 2021-01-18 by , Indianapolis, IN UnknownWe love the area!! This particular condo deserves some TLC. Bar dining is not family friendly and stools were not comfortable. Carpeting in bedrooms could use a good cleaning or even replaced. Missing towel bar in main bathroom and could use some updating.

Good value, we'd stay in this unit again
Reviewed on 2020-10-06 by Todd R. , Eureka, MO United StatesThis unit is so close to the pool, but just far enough away to not hear all the hustle and bustle. It's in the walkway directly near the door for the interior units, which sit over the parking garage. I was a little concerned that the interior door might be loud with people coming and going, but it never was an issue. The beds were comfortable. The master has a memory foam mattress which was nice. The two twin beds were more firm but still comfortable. We stayed here the last week in September, so as always, it was definitely more quiet then peak season and the weather was in the mid 80's to upper 70's. The pool felt warmer on the cooler days, so I assume it's heated this time of year, but if it wasn't it was still nice to be able to choose between the pool and the beach. Thank you and would recommend.

Very clean, tidy condo in an older, well maintained property! There is so much to do in the local area, though, that you very likely won't do much here beyond sleeping! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thanks to all involved in making this property available to us! :-)
