Once we got through the late arrival everything smoothed out. A few pointers for future renters. If you call for late arrival, you better make SURE you have the email before you hang up. The phone numbers provided are not answered, and the 24 hour emergency line doesn’t know enough about your specific rental to help. We did receive two calls back and THANK GOD FOR BARBARA! She went to the “Sun Host Rental Office” and picked our packet up and delivered it to the elevator so we could get in. The pool rules show 8 people. This was not followed and I don’t understand such a small capacity for an 80 unit building. Madeira Norte is a nice place with friendly people staying there. 510 balcony and location is perfect. The 2 rooms were a nice feature too. Beds could be updated and the sheets softer (they were scratchy). There was only 1 roll of paper towels so bring some. There are plenty of pans for cooking but there aren’t any additional items for cooking in the full kitchen. Need foil or Pam for the pans so things don’t stick. Check out was easy tho. Again the location and building is great. People friendly and short access to the beach.

The only negative was trying to find the office to key our fobs. It is not explained well OR marked clearly where you need to go

When you are flying in this is a pain to pack. Unit is dark. While the AC is nice and cold it doesn't help if it breaks. Didn't feel your urgency to get it fixed. I hard to call twice. Out for over 24 hours. There is ZERO shade at the pool. You need some umbrellas at the tables. The key fob thing is a pain. Go to a code system like everywhere else then you don't have to check in somewhere else and you don't have to keep track of a key/fob. Check in is close by, but still hated the fob, Floors could have been cleaner. I swept up a big pile of dirt/sand upon arrival. There were no paper towels on arrival. Location is great, easy walk to shopping and restaurants. We loved that there wasn't a lot of traffic in the area and it was easy to get around. Lots of kids and a small pool so keep that in mind. Lots of rules that nobody pays any attention to. The office staff and the guy who keeps the area cleaned up were all very nice.

Beautiful location. Quiet and very clean. Furniture in general was uncomfortable. Would have been nice to have a King bed in the Primary bedroom.

Condo was clean, great location. My second time staying there. One of the elevators was broken, made it a bit inconvenient. Really like staying there. It’s a great location. Convenient location to great restaurants and shopping at John’s Pass. Beautiful beach. Fascinating watching the draw bridge near by. Picking up and dropping off the keys for condo is inconvenient.

Rental was very clean and nice, Was very impressed with all the amenities and view of the ocean was beautiful. Pool was awesome and parking was perfect.
Would defiantly stay again.

We had a great stay at Madiera Norte 510. Unit was nice and clean. Decent cookware for making breakfast, but would recommend adding some cheap plastic cups. Beds were good, but pillows were flat and could use replacing. Shower had great water pressure. Although, I would recommend a double shower head with a handheld wand for getting sand out of those hard to reach spots. Lol.

My family and I love Madeira Beach,we have stayed at Madeira Norte several times,as well as other Sun Host Resorts, we have never been disappointed, and look forward to staying here next year!

Our experience was great. We love staying at this condo complex. Such a great location with John's Pass across the street. The condo itself was great and well equipped. Wonderful view of the ocean!

elevators were down on our check-in day & off/on throughout stay. We were on the 5th floor trying to bring luggage up stairwell, was very difficult. construction during our stay was very noisy & not relaxing at the pool.

Great location. Directly across from John’s Pass. Condo 510 was clean and comfortable. The balcony faces the beach. Had building maintenance going on but was notified well in advance. The rental company was accommodating and allowed us to switch our condo due to the maintenance going on. We would stay here again.

Overall I like the top floor location and beach front view very much and have continued to rent this condo for the past seven or eight years for four weeks. This is a very well decorated, maintained and clean condo and guests I have over are very impressed. I do have three suggestions for improvements to consider. "One", have the chairs and couch cushions dry cleaned. "Two", have the mattress for the master bedroom bed replaced with a much higher quality mattress. I found it difficult to get a good nights sleep with the existing mattress. "Three", the sliding glass door to the deck from the living room was nearly impossible to open. I had to use a half can of WD40 and a full roll of paper towels to try and clean the dirt and grit from the track. I was still unable to get the track clean but was able to get the door to slide more easily. I suggest a door specialist company be brought-in and remove the door and clean the bottom of the door, replace the plastic rollers and power clean the track. I suggest this because every time I opened or closed the door I could hear a grinding noise.
