Maderia Norte is in a great location. Walk across the street to shops and dining. Can enjoy the live music on the balcony, but not too loud. Long vistas of the beach and sunsets from the balcony. Pool heater was broken during my stay. Building is safe with key fob access. Checkin was smooth. Unit was clean, but is dire need of updates and some repair.

The room is in need of an update on appliances (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher) obviously very old, but functional. Fridge died while we were there but was quickly fixed by SunHost. View is amazing and very convenient location. Would definitely recommend, and will stay there again.

The property in general was very clean with the exception of the pool. It seemed to have a film of scum around the pool top and someone had written words in iit. Maybe it needs to be cleaned more often when the property is full. The unit we rented needed some maintenance. Everything that was metal like the ceiling tile surround and metal medicine cabinets were very rusty. The countertops and cabinets I n the kitchen are very old and pieces are peeling. The dishwasher doesn’t correctly under the counter and is pushed back and is very hard to get to start. The unit was very clean but needs maintenance. The properties very nice but I would probably not rent this unit again. I would rent another unit in the building but not this one.

Unit looks exactly like pictures on Airbnb. Balcony had stunning view. Appliances like microwave dishwasher were useful but also very old. Do you wanna provide no amenities for the kitchen like salt and pepper, paper towels, beach towels etc. unfortunately I booked through Airbnb so the lack of communication was unidirectional but when I called the office who are very professional and attentive. We went through a whole day without any water because the unit was doing maintenance

Location perfect for us. Rental needs updated, appliances and bathrooms. But very stay able. The rest of the rooms were good. Views were fantastic.

We have stayed at Madeira Norte for over 18 years. This is first time renting Condo 513. The ice maker was broken and leaked water into the refrigerator, therefore we had to keep it turned off. Once we discovered this, we had food ruined. The clothes washer was amiss as well, the front panel was sticking out. To get the washer to fill, you must push the panel forward. We didn’t attempt the dishwasher!!! If you look to the left on the floor of the dishwasher you will see where there has been severe water damage to the molding. And one of the kitchen chairs was placed in the master suite due to a screw missing. Do not sit in this chair. It’s rather disappointing this unit is being rented in this condition!

Beautiful weather and perfect beach location. The rental is a great location however in need of updates. Sunhost is wonderful to deal with and sent maintenance immediately when e had some issues.

Loved sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins and listening to the music across the street! Beautiful sunset views. Great place for the price. Furniture and mattresses well used.

Madeira Beach is like home to us. We have stayed at Madeira Norte many times in the past and like it. This particular unit is poorly maintained, has junk like a screen door stuffed into the master bedroom closet, and is not very clean. It has a beautiful view and a good parking spot, but we would not rent it again.

The unit was clean but is in desperate need of a remodel. The elevators are extremely slow and one day were not working for half of the day. The location is great being directly across from John's Pass.

The location was great, the view was amazing. The condo kitchen was very outdated, old and dirty, counters and cabinets were chipped, pots and pans were old, coffee maker didn't work, there was no hairdryer, and furniture was really old. We had others who stayed in same condo building with nice updated condos. Would recommend this condo building and loved the view, but would not stay in this particular condo unless kitchen was updated.

We enjoyed our stay here. We especially loved the mirrored wall and the view from the balcony. I do feel like the whole unit could use a face lift. The headboard on the bed in the master bedroom was broke. The blinds in the living room had two broken slates that had be taped back up and one of them kept falling off. The wall in the main bathroom had a huge brown smear underneath the mirror. The sleeper sofa mattress was way to thin. We ended up sleeping on couch instead of pulling out the bed. The furniture is old looking but comfy. Just felt like for the price of the rental it definitely needs some upgrades. But we liked it enough that we would stay again.

The only reason I stay at Madeira Norte Is the location I have stayed in 513 for probably 15 years I stayed in 515 Which is nice as much as the price has went up you should probably put some effort into your place there was blonde hair everywhere the elevator was down almost the whole week I felt like I was in a motel eight when you spent almost $2000 you expect to be in certain a little nicer the place is definitely went downhill

This was a great place to stay! This condo does need some updates. Love the openness of the kitchen. The office moved and checking out was confusing and no one there to help. They had a hard time finding the keys I guess.

Great view, but, unit needs updating. Counter tops need replaced and cabinets need repaired or replaced. CATV cable running in front of sliding glass door and always being tripped over. Again, great view!

We have been using the Surf Song resorts for over 25 years. I have to say we were very disappointed with our last resort stay. The last unit we stayed in had multiple things that were disappointing. Just to name a few, the sliding glass doors to the balcony would not lock. We had to put a broom jammed into the doors to make sure our belongings were safe. The dishwasher lower rack had to be fixed by our son the lower rack would not pull out. The bed in the master was extremely uncomfortable and outdated. The cabinet in the main bathroom was peeling off. There was minimal storage in the kitchen for storing items. The furniture on the balcony was extremely outdated along with the furniture in the living room. Both bathrooms were oddly laid out you had to keep your toilet paper on the cabinet or you would not be able to reach it from the toilet. Both toilets were right on top of the cabinets. If you were a large person you could not even fit on the toilet. We will never use Madeira Norte again unit 513. We were extremely disappointed with this unit definitely not worth the money at all!!!

Glass top dining table has six chairs (and after I tightened all the bolts holding the chair legs on they didn't wobble any more). Kitchen was adequately supplied with the exception of needing larger drinking glasses (bought and used Solo cups during entire stay). Cabinets are from original 1974 build, lower cabinets are badly decayed around the dishwasher; which we couldn't use during our stay because it leaked on the floor if you used it. Kitchen sink faucet leaks around swivel spout. Cooktop of stove was pretty gummed up from prior guests but cleaned up reasonably well after buying and using ceramic polish (and lots of elbow grease). Balcony has four mesh type armchairs and a low wicker type coffee table. Also had a wicker style love seat but both front legs are broken (just taped on for appearance sake -- so don't try to sit on it, it will collapse). Parking spot assigned to this unit premium (fully covered and next to the front elevator). The neighbors in unit #514 are owners and are great people. On the whole we enjoyed our stay, and we love staying at the Norte (and the Sunhost people are great to work with and responsive to your needs) but for the price you pay during the winter season I don't think we'd rent this unit again until it was updated, or at least repaired and freshened up.
