The Crimson offers the largest and most luxurious vacation rentals in Madeira Beach. Located just north of John's Pass Bridge these rental units are within walking distance to all the shops & restaraunts John's Pass has to offer. Choose from five 1400 sq foot direct beach front 2 bedroom 2 bath units, three side view 1600 sq foot 3 bedroom 3 bath units and six side view 1250 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bath units.

I highly recommend this condo-Im actually getting ready to stay there again this oct. 2012. The number of conndos in the complex is small (15 I think) and so sharing the pool and hot tub are not a problem. The condo is clean, directly on the beach, and parking for 1 vehicle isnt a problem. It is directly across from john's pass where there is entertainment and food and is close to clearwater and st pete. excellent.

We have been staying atthe Crimson for the past 12 years. It has a great location whihc is convenient to shops and restaurants. The amenities, pool, hot tub, proximity to the beach are outstanding. Two things I do not like are that cost have steadily increased to the point we are going to look elsewhere and the unit we stayed in was nice but needs many upgrades. Things like better furniture which was really old and possibly the bathrooms/kitchen/carpets. We stayed in unit 305 which redid their shower and loved it! We also try to get this unitbut it is in great demand probably because of these upgrades.

301 is a wonderful condo. It has a great view well equiped inside and out. Plenty of chairs on the deck. The development is extremely well kept and at all tims very clean. Great location as it is right between Clearwater and St. Petersbug so you can take advantage of shopping in both locations. In addition, right across the street offers great restaruants and many shops. My only regret is this year we waited too long to book so none of the direct beach units are not available. In 2011 we will be in one of the side units. However, since we have not stayed previously in a side unit the view might be fine. On line the unit looks wonderful. Special compliments for the folks who operated the units the rental people are so very friendly and helpful it is like visting family. Conch Republic is a fun restaurant, not too far away, and the crab legs are outstanding. Frenchy's Rocaway Grill in Clearwater is a sit outside restaurant, very reasonable, fun, and great sunsets.

The beach is wide and kept clean. The condo is nice with a balcony but does not have a clear view of the beach. There is a nice pool and whirlpool. It can get crowded at the pool during peek season. The condo is clean but there is no daily service. About 1 hour from Busch Gardens.

Just a couple of small things. That could be addressed easily. The TV system could use some updating, I don't think it even had a digital box. We would rather pay a little more in the monthly rate and have long distance included with the rental. The furniture on the balcony is in need of replacing, It was in pretty bad shape and not very attractive. It is a lovely condo, these upgrades would make it even better.

On arrival the fridge freezer did not work,(service was prompt), Washing machine had knobs missing and saucepans had been burnt by previous occupier.We felt that the equipment should have been check before new rental. Housekeeping needs to be more thorough in there inspection.

I would recommend this facility and condo to everyone. The condo was great, we felt very safe I liked how they had the gates where you had to use your key to get in. We have stayed at several condos in Florida, but probably the best so far. Close to everything, very convenient. Would definitely come back to this condo and facility for sure.

This condo is an end unit right on the beach with an outstanding view. Great amenities and super clean with updated features. We had plenty of room for our crew as each area is more than spacious. Location was great, close to Johns pass with plenty to get into. Tim and his team hooked it up and I would recomend to all interested.

We have been vacationing in Madeira Beach for several years.Every year there has been excellent experience. It is a wonderful place for families with children.Everything is close by,shopping, beach and fun. The worst part about the vacations in Madeira Beach is the fact that you always have go back home. The condos are aways clean and very spacious.We fill like at home.

The condo was wonderful. We had plenty of room to stretch out without feeling like we were on top of each other (like most hotel rooms). We have three children, so the two beds in the second bedroom worked out great for us. The kids loved the shower in the master bathroom! The washer & dryer were an added bonus. The view was great (loved the extra large balcony- it was very relaxing), the beach was very quiet and we all loved to watch the sun set. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay again if we come down that way!

The place was just as shown on the website. It was very clean and a great location. The only thing I felt it needed was some more cooking utensils and paper goods. Had a late check in and the office closes early but was able to obtain my key with no problem.

Hello, Despite the unseasonably cold weather, we made the most of our week and always thoroughtly enjoy staying at the Crimson. We especially like it because there aren't too many units...just right for us. The only thing I noticed that was needing attention was a huge black growth in the upper patio side of the ceiling/wall in the master bedroom. Some kind of spider web or fungus growth, not sure what it was. I kept forgetting to mention it when I was in the office. It definitely wasn't enough to deter our returning to the wonderrful Crimson. Location, upkeep and cleaning, service, amenities, all couldn't have been better. Heated pool was great. Our only issue was the full size bed in the master bedroom. A room that large should have a king-size. We're used to a king and it was a little tough for us to adjust.

We enjoyed our stay in FL (1/2-1/30-2010) and the Crimson across from John's Pass. We were here for some very cold weather. Did not use the pool until Jan 19. It was a nice pool, but took a long time to warm up because of the wind tunnel under the building which kept it much cooler than the pool at the condo next to us. The whirlpool was much too hot, so did not use that until we had them turn it down. The condo was cool when it was cold outside, because of the ceramic floor. The bathrooms got mold in the showers after a couple of weeks. We got a brush form the office and cleaned them ourselves. This was a great location-food-entertainment-shopping all right across the street. Waltz Fish Shack was a great place in the pass to eat. The condo was plenty big for us and our kids and grandkids-6 of us was perfect. Having 3 bathrooms was a real luxury. Furniture was very nice and we liked it that it was not decorated much-so we did not have to worry about stuff getting broke. Kitchen was very nice with upgraded appliances. Alice Matson

We had originally booked another unit and were disappointed. The staff were incredibly helpful, even offering to stay late until we found a unit we liked. Thanks to you all. 103 Crimson was perfect for us. It was like home away from home. The unit was spotless and the pool and hot tub were always really clean. The units and pool area are secure. We would definately consider returning to this unit. The only drawback we found - there is not a lot for kids to do.

We have stayed at the Crimson several times and this was probably one of the better rooms. Even though it was not a beach front we still had a nice view of the beach. And the added benefit that it was a lot quieter than the beach front as you dont have the pool under your room or the beach traffic passing by. It is also at the end of the building so traffic outside your door was limited. The room was clean and everything worked. Very convenient location to stores and St Johns Pass is right across the street. Would definately rent this room again.

We just spent a wonderful week at Crimson #203 and had a great time. This 3 bedroom / 3 bath was ideal for my husband & I, my brother and his wife and 2 teenagers. The beach is just a short walk away and St John's Pass offers many restaurants and shops. It was fun to stroll through the shops. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was ideal, so we were able to wash our beach towels and clothes. Don't forget the laundry detergent, napkins, paper towels. You will also need to bring your own beach towels. The view from the balcony was nice but it did over look the pool next door. If you need a smaller unit, there are 2 bedroom ones that directly face the beach. We had a great time! Enjoy.

My family and I spent a week at the Crimson and have stayed before. The location is great - right across from Johns Pass and the beach is beautiful. What we really liked about this unit was all the room. It is very spacious with two master bedrooms & baths. There were six of us and we never felt crowded. We did have an issue with the floors. Although they looked to be clean, they weren't and the bottoms of our feet & socks were black from walking on the floors. Still, we had a lovely time and will definitely stay again. I hope the floor issue will be taken care of. I'm sure a good cleaning would help.

What a perfect vacation. The condo was so spacious and right on the beach with a great view. Besides a trip or two to the grocery store, everything is walking distance. I would, and have, recommend the Crimson condos to all. We have stayed in both the two bedroom and the three bedroom units. These were both very spacious and clean,all the conviences of home, Tv's in all bedrooms and living room,washer and dryer to use at our conveince and a full kitchen to cook in. The view of the gulf was spectacular,from our balcony we were able to watch the dolfins swim pass each morning as we were having our breakfast.The beach is clean and well maintained,great swimming and shell collecting. Fishing from the pier was great,my husband caught a two pompano, which he gave away and a small shark which he released. The location is great as we were across from John's Pass. Here we were able to take some great boat cruises,great shoping and dinning here also. We drove down so we had our own car but if you do not you can use the colourful trams, for a minimal cost, these trams will take you from Clearwater to Pass A Grille. We will defiently stay here again.

We had a wonderful week at the Crisom and had a wonderful time. This is the first time that we stayed in Madeira Beach and this was a great location to vacation. The view was excellent; we could sit on the balcony and just look at the beach. Everything was in walking distance, shops and places to eat. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing that I wish they did, (I get this at my other condos) they should give you a little welcome basket that has some things in t to get you started so you don't have to run to the store as soon as you get there. Coffee, dish soap, etc.

We recently stayed in #203 of Crimson. Our entire family stayed in the condo(son,daughter-in-law,grandson,daughter,son-in-law,granddaughter,my husband and myself. We really enjoyed our vacation. There was ample dishes, utensils and towels. Since there were 3 families under 1 roof an extra set of keys would have been helpful.Also a roll of paper towels would have come in handy with 2 grand children. We would also have liked to have a pen and paper handy for notes and grocery lists. We were told that there was a DVD player at the condo but there was not one there. All in all, we had a great time and would go back again. So close to the beach and John's Pass.

Crimson Condo is only a step away from the ocean, great food and entertainment. Crimson has the most beautiful pool and hot tub. The pool and condo units are locked so that people who do not stay at the Crimson can not get in. I rent for 2 weeks-I stay one week by myself and i feel so safe. I never feel afraid to stay alone. The staff is very friendly and will help you with any of your needs. The units are very clean. Can't pack lots of things in that suitcase now--every unit has a washer and dryer. Most units have just been repainted and recarpeted most have new furniture. Their are lots of boat trips for the kids within walking distanc. I would highly suggest the pirate ship , the dolphin watch ,the boat trip to shell island or jet ski. I also suggest renting a boat and taking a ride thru the intercoastal waters. I make the Crimson my 2 week Christmas gift to my children every year. My kids are 30, 35 and 27 Its hard to purchase gifts so for the past 10 years I have sent out invitations for them to come during the 2 weeks in March for a visit. Every year they have all excepted and its the best family get together!!! Try this on you next Christmas--you will not regret its!

Big and well furnished condo, loved the walk in shower and big balcony the condo building and the building next door are really close together but being on the top floor you had the advantage of extra privacy. This unit was not direct ocean front but we were on the side and we still could view the ocean from the balcony and went to bed with sliding glass doors open and could hear the ocean perfectly. Right across the street was John's Pass and we could walk over and eat lunch or supper anytime there were a lot of restaurants, ice cream shops to choose from and a great coffee shop if you need an espresso pick me up during the day. I would stay here again.

This is the first time we have stayed at Crimson. We have vacationed at Madeira area before, but this experience tops them all. We have rented a home and hotel before. The condo tops them all. It was very clean and comfortable. Also the kitchen was very well stocked, it was like being at home, but much better! It's great for family's with kids. There were many things for my kids to do. I would recommend Crimson to everyone who is wanting a great place to stay with a home like feeling.

The management staff are wonderful, from booking questions to extremely helpful once you arrive. They took care of all our needs pleasantly and quickly. Since the last time we were at Crinson it was painted and the grounds were spruced up. The gentleman who cleaned the outside did a great job. Our condo was in fairly good shape. The king bed was very confortable. The twins could use some new spreads. We enjoyed having the washer and dryer at our disposal. We found the living area very comfortable. Condo 303 is a great one, would like to have seen more dishes and matching ones at that to be able to have enough for two meals before having to wash them. Condo 303, should have in the entranceway some pictures, shells, glass works of art, etc that say "Welcome to my home" It seems to be so sterile. The unit is clean and functional but the personal touch is missing. This is well kept up clean unit and does the job of a place to stay and close to everything and we would come back to it. The sunsets are beautiful and well worth being on the water and the two teenage girls loved the pool, spa, and beach. Thank you

This was our fifth visit to this Condo and we have already booked it for next Christmas. We would recommend this site and in particular this unit,it is without a doubt the best: (just don't try reserving it between Dec 19th & Jan 5th on any year)-THAT IS OURS. The hot tub could be perhaps a little hotter but that is the only (minor) comment I can make. Oh yes, the unit would be improved by the addition of a DVD player to the otherwise excellent entertainment centre. All in all 5 1/2 stars out of a maximum 5!!

Our family has visted the Maderia Beach several times. This was the first time renting from Sun Host. The condo we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would highly recommend this condo unit. The unit was supplied with all our needs. The kitchen was large and had enough kitchen supplies to cook all your meals at the condo if you wish to. The unit included a washer and dryer which comes in very handy. The unit was supplied with all our towel and linen needs. If you decide to rent this unit, we know you will not be disappointed.

We have stayed at Crimson on many occasions. This is the first time I have been asked to write a review. I must say that our stay is always the best. Our SunHost property people always make our stay seem like home. Every amenity that we enjoy at home is usually found in our condo. The accommodations are always spotless and well-maintained. The area that we come to has become our No 1 Florida destination. We had a great week at the Crimson Condo. The condo was on the beach with a great view of the area. Everything we needed was in the condo, from cooking to recreation this condo had it all. One of the cleanest places we have stayed too! We were located in walking distance to St. Johns Pier, so we were able to walk there easily and enjoy the shops and food. While at the pier we were able to see dolphins daily and even a manatee. I highly recommend this location for a relaxing vacation with a great view and nearby activities.

This was the best privately owned condo I've stayed at ever. The bedrooms were nice sized with plenty of closet and drawer storage. The bathrooms were perfect for our family of four. The master bath has a huge shower with plenty of space for two. A spacious and well equipped kitchen met all of our cooking and eating needs. There were even plenty of wine glasses and a cork screw for those evenings when I needed to have a glass or two out on the huge balcony watching the sun go down. The property was very calm and easy going overall. The only disturbance we experienced was next door at the Surf Song where a man was doing some kind of construction on one of the units. Thankfully it wasn't extremely early and he didn't work late. The lawn guys show up early however and if you want to sleep in that particular morning, keep the windows and doors closed. My husband and I didn't get great rest due to the less than comfortable mattress in the master bedroom. I left the suggestion with the management to have it replaced. We had plenty of room to spread out when we were winding down, watching tv or whatnot. When it was time to swim in the pool, there were some things my son could use in the entry closet such as a pair of flippers and some goggles. The rules for the pool include no floats or tubes, but he was just as pleased to use what was provided. Some beach chairs in the closet were broken, but we didn't use them anyway. The shops and restaurants at John's Pass were so close you "could" walk, but the construction and the traffic infront of the condo deemed somewhat risky. Especially with children. We have stayed at Crimson on the Gulf many times. This was our first time in this unit, and as usual, everything was wonderful. This is a very private building with a great pool and the building is set up with such great views from the balconies. We have been staying since our children were young and they are now teenagers. They love coming to the area as much as we do. There is so much to see and do and so many things within a short driving distance. Highly recommended..... Our hockey committments this season are the only thing stopping us from coming back this Christmas.

This is a nice, large condo on the beach. The view of the beach is excellent. The 3 bedrooms and living spaces were quite comfortable and plenty big enough for our family of 4 plus 1 set of grandparents. While there, we had a problem with the microwave in the unit. The staff was very accomodating and provided a suitable replacement as ours was being replaced. Also, this unit has an update that utilizes a stackable washer/dryer (plenty big) and gives even more space in 1st master bath/closet area.

We love this property. The location is perfect. We love staying on the beach and having John's Pass directly across the street. The pool offers another option for staying cool. The room was very clean and overall, it was very affordable.

Shared a 2 BR with another couple. We both have toddlers and we had plenty of space and the unit was immaculate. The balcony was awesome for watching sunsets. Try the grouper at Dockside Dave's and go to the Salt Rock Grill for upscale dining. We loved the area and hope to rent this unit in the future.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Crimson. Didnt have a direct beach view, but our view was still beautiful. Everything was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Also a great location to walk places. I cant wait for a return trip, and we will definitely stay at the Crimson again.

My family and I thorughly enjoyed our stay at the Crimson. The beach was relaxing and we enjoyed being located accross the street from John's Pass. Very nice accomodations and a great veiw of the Gulf. We had a most enjoyable time and will return in the future.

Our family loved this condo. It was just what we were looking for. It was large, well cared for, beautifully furnished, and on the beach. It was located directly across from John's Pass and close to several restaurants and stores. It had a huge balcony that overlooked the beach and a well-maintained pool. We would definitely go back again!

The condo was very nice and the view was wonderful. We enjoyed the beach and the pool every day. The water heater broke during our stay and it took three days to get it fixed. Luckily we knew other people staying there so we could go and shower in their condos. The second night the management gave us a key to another condo to use the hot water. The first night we couldn't get anyone to help us. Instead of giving us those two nights free, they gave us back $100 in cash. We were not at all impressed with management but the beach and pool were great. Sadly, we will not go back there.

The condo was very nice - updated furnishings. Everything was clean. The kitchen could use a few more supples and utensils. We were a little disappointed in the pool which is very small. Otherwise it was a great week. We loved the convenience to John's Pass and the new Bubba Gump Seafood Restaurant was right across the street. We plan to stay there again.

Clean and neat condo with a great location on the beach. Pool and deck area were not outstanding but the beach was very close and wonderful. Washer and dryer was a real plus for us. I would recommend this condo for anyone vacationing in this part of Florida.

We have spent Christmas since 2005 at the Crimson along with 5 other couples who have been travelling to Flordia for 15 years and the last 3 have been the best. Since the first year the Crimson it has felt like home very close for everything we need shopping, golf, tennis, and we do like being close to John's Pass. I have reccomended this property to others and they have made it their summer vacation spot for the last 3 years. My family loves their holiday here and cannot wait to go back every I would recommend this property to any one any time. I will be spending Christmas on the beach at the Crimson again this year and cannot wait.

we really enjoyed our stay at crimson condo. our ocean front patio was large enough for 4 of us to set out and enjoy the view comfortably. the inside of the condo was also quite nice. the staff was very accomodating and let us take a late check out even though there were people coming in right behind us! it was a short walk right across the street to all the activities of john's pass, but was several miles away to get to anything else and we found the trolley hard to catch!! the only downfall to the crimson condo was the pool area. i was expecting a larger area around the pool with tables, chairs and umbrellas, but all we had were a few lounge chairs. all in all the stay was very nice.

A wonderful condo and ideal location. Everything was clean and plenty of towels and bedding. The Managers of the property were only too pleased to help with anything and were extremely friendly. Have stayed at Maderia Beach/Treasure Island many times but never in this condo - we will be back to stay again, but this time would like a beach front condo. Our daughter and her boyfriend came with us for the first time and they love the place so much are planning to go back next year! We love FLORIDA!

We rent from Sunhost regularly. They have friendly staff and things always go great. We loved this condo - it was bright and beautiful with great views. The pool and hot tub were fantastic too.

My husband and I and two teen-age children spent a very relaxing 4 days at Crimson Condo Unit #103 in August. The 3-bedroom unit had very large rooms including 3 full bathrooms which was wonderful! The unit said side beach view but the view was very close to beachfrot. The HUGE balcony was also a wonderful treat. The management staff was very attentive to our requests. The kids loved that they could walk right across the street to John's Pass for shopping/dining. I would stay in this building again.

Wonderful location, right across the road from Johns Pass Village. Fantastic for walking to restaurants, bars and shops. Rental property was close to perfect, however, some furnishings are close to the time when they perhaps need to be renewed. One stool in the kitchen was actually so broken it could have been dangerous.

Whilst we knew that the apartment was on the beach front, we were still knocked out by the view when we stood on the balcony. Great during the day and fantastic sunsets in the evenings. It was great to walk downstairs first thing in the morning and straight into the water for a swim. There are lots of local restaurants and bars but anything you need is within a few minutes drive. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard with a great tv, stereo etc.and loads of space.Fantastic!!!

Everything you need is available at this condo. Great size and ocean view from balcony was tremondous. We loved watching the dolphins in the morning. Lots of restaurants/bars in walking distance or short drive. Personnel at office were excellent and helpful with making your visit the best. Would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay in this spacious condo with a lovely beach view. This place is in a great location. The kitchen was well stocked and had ample utensils and cabinet space and the condo was a very good value for a family vacation. However, the condo was not as nice as the pictures indicate. Although the carpet was new, the furniture was cheap and threadbare, paint was scraped, headboards loose, blinds missing pieces and the towels flinty (suggest you bring some from home). A mid-week housekeeping visit would have been appreciated. Very quiet until some party animals moved in next door. The onsite manager was very unpleasant when we asked for a short departure extension, in order to get 2 kids packed up and out. Loved the area, but will probably look for alternate accommodations next time.

The Crimson is a great place to stay. It is located right on the beach and just steps from the boardwalk (St. John's Pass). It has it own private pool and jacuzzi. My family and I enjoyed our stay there so much, we make a return visit every year. We have told other family members and friends and now even they join us there. It is like a home away from home. It is conveniently located to shopping, food, and entertainment. We just love the view. We always have great service and are always satisfied with our room accomodations. The rentals are clean, and you feel very safe staying there. It is family oriented and a great place to take the WHOLE family. I would recommend staying there any time of the year....it is a great place to stay.

This is the third time my family has stayed in this condo. We love it. I have two small kids ages 2 and 4 that have a great time every time we go. This time my sister got married on the beach directly behind the condo, so between our family and the grooms family we pretty much had the entire place, they are all great.

We spent a week at Crimson Tide on Maderia Beach and have for the past several years. The condo has all the ammenities you require. Everything else you need is right across the street. Shopping, restaurants, bars,etc. You can't beat the location. The beach is great, clean & safe. It's a nice place to lay back and relax.

We had rented a beach front condo for 5 weeks in the same building but were unable to remain in that condo for our 6th week because it was rented to another party. We opted to move to Crimson 105 (on the side and near the front of the building) for our final week. It was clean and decently furnished.
