Best of the Best

My four sisters and I spend time together every year at one of the Las Brisas Condos. We return every year to the clean, spaces and attractive condos. Very nice ocean view and close to the water.

Life's a Beach

Recently, remodelled, free wifi and parking. Amazing beachfront view and large open balcony. Sliding glass door to balcony from livingroom is old and breaking apart needs replacing. It's also very heavy and difficult to open. Kudos to Flipkey for jumping on the repair as soon as I notified them about the door frame coming apart. Give it 4.5 stars. A new door would make this 5 stars

Worst place we ever stayed

Reviewed on Friday, July 9, 2010

Unit #205 at Las Brisas was the worst place we have ever stayed. Beautiful view but nothing has been done to update the condo since it was built. The wall paper is peeling, stains on the ceilings, cabinets in bath are in such bad shape we didn't want to put our things in them, the drawers were falling apart. Kitchen cabinets and drawers were falling apart. The toaster was broken, TV didn't work. When we complained to the management they took care of the tv and toaster right away - they were great to work with, unfortunately that didn't change the condition of the condo. They said they have had many complaints about this condo and have tried to get the owner to update it. They said they were not going to rent it out anymore until it was updated - I wish they had made that decision a little earlier. We had friends staying in the condo directly above us and their condo was beautiful, recently updated and in great shape. We loved the location of the condos and the beach but if you stay at Las Brisas I would find out as much about the condo as possible before you rent.

We spent a week with our grown children.

We wanted to spend time with our grown children-no spouses or grandchildren. We are getting older (70) and wanted to have some private time with them. The facilities were wonderful and very clean. We will go again next year.

cousins from sweden

Reviewed on Friday, November 7, 2008

I live twenty minutes from the beach and needed to find a place for my six cousins from Sweden to stay for two weeks. I found a perfect location at Las Brisas on Madiera beach. The condo was priced very reasonably and was clean and large enough to accommodate the whole group without them feeling crowded. The gulf of Mexico was their back yard and they could walk to the library, grocery, pharmacy, shopping and many restaurants within ten minutes. The atmosphere was quiet and had a family orientation. The condo had a full kitchen and washer and dryer which made it feel like home for breakfast and sunsets on the balcony. Since I live in Tampa it was very easy for me to visit each day and to take them to Busch gardens and dinner in the Cuban section of Tampa. We also went to a Tampa lightning hockey game. My cousins were never bored and found their stay to be fun, relaxing and easy. I found that dealing with the rental agent was very easy and they were very accommodating. The only regret that we had was that we ran out of time before we got to go deep sea fishing which by the way, was across the street from the condo. ari

Had a great stay!

Condo was well laid out with both living room and master bedroom leading to the balcony and a beautiful sunset! Had all the amenities required and was very clean. Only draw back was there was only one parking spot - something that caused concern when we had a visitor stay overnight on an occasion. However, we were not deterred as we are booked for 2009! Very satisfied.

Relaxing Vacation

Reviewed on Saturday, October 25, 2008

Our entire family stayed at the Las Brisas Condo this summer. It has 3 bedrooms so we had plenty of space. The pictures on the web are exactly how it looks. The beach is not crowded and I recommend renting the umbrella and chairs in front of the condo. It definitly is the place to have a relaxing vacation. At first the children, ages 3-13, thought it would be boring and would only have old people on the beach but they were pleasantly surprised to see several children their ages on the beach. There is a volleyball net on the beach in front of the condo. It is a short distance from St. John's Pass which is really nice to visit but don't make the mistake of waiting until the last night to check it out like we did. The only drawback I had was the parking situation. There is only one parking spot and we had 2 vehicles so that was an inconvience. We will definitly go to Mederia Beach again and if we don't need 3 bedrooms, the other rentals Sunhost has available also looks nice.
