2020 Gasparilla Invasion

The Gasparilla Invasion is one of the most iconic events of Gasparilla season.  The pirates of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla board their mighty ship, the Jose Gasparilla, and set sail from the South end of Hillsborough Bay.  From there, they sail through Seddon Channel (betwen Davis Island and Harbour Island) along with the Gasparilla Flotilla, laying siege to the City of Tampa with cannon fire and revelry.  The pirates arrive at the Tampa Convention Center to take the key to the City of Tampa then celebrate their victory throughout the day.
