About the Event

Join us for the Legends Never Die 5K, a special run/walk dedicated to raising awareness for mental health, PTSD, and suicide prevention among first responders, veterans, and their families. Hosted by the Madeira Beach Fire Department, this event is more than just a race—it's a tribute to the heroes who serve and protect us. The scenic, beachside 5K route will take participants along the beautiful Madeira Beach coastline, providing a meaningful and picturesque setting for the event. Official chip timing will be used to record race results, and medals will be awarded to top finishers in various age categories. Children under 12 can participate for free, making it a family-friendly experience.

After the race, join us for an uplifting celebration featuring music, refreshments, and a special ceremony to honor our heroes. Whether you're running, walking, or simply cheering from the sidelines, this event is an opportunity to show gratitude and support for those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Registration & Fees

  • General Admission: $35 (Early Bird) | $45 (Day of Race)

  • Veterans & First Responders: Discounted rate of $25

  • Kids Under 12: Free

  • Teams & Groups: Register as a team and receive a group discount.

You can support the Legends Never Die 5K in several ways. By participating, you help raise awareness and funds for mental health programs benefiting veterans and first responders. Donations are also welcome and go directly toward providing resources and support for those in need.
