The Suncoast Sea Bird Sanctuary is a nonprofit charity dedicated to saving and protecting local birds. The sanctuary allows guided and educational tours through its gardens and cages, and you can interact with the birds that are unable to survive on their own in the wild.
This is easily the best snorkeling the Gulf has to offer! Take the Hubbards Marina Tampa Bay Ferry from Fort De Soto to the wildlife preserve and reserve a spot on the snorkeling excursion. Explore the ruins of Fort Dade or the grassflates just teeming with natural sealife.
