NOTE: These policies must be acknowledged (signed off on) prior to completion of any on-line booking.
Payments: A prepayment of $250 via Visa, Master Card or Discover is required to confirm a booking. FINAL BALANCE PAYMENT is due 21 days prior to occupancy and will be charged to the card on file unless prior other payment arrangements are made. We encourage balance payment by Check , however checks must be received at least 21 days prior to arrival. Any booking not prepaid at least 21 days prior to arrival is subject to cancellation and forfeiture of the $250 prepayment. Prepayments may be held in an interest bearing account with all interest accruing to SunHost Resorts.
Cancellations: ALL cancellation requests must be received in WRITING via email, fax or letter. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. There will be a service charge of $75 on ANY cancellation. There will be no refund of payments on any cancellation made within 60 days of arrival date, unless the property is re-rented for the original duration or longer. There will be NO refund for early departure for any reason except mandatory evacuation. There will be NO refund after final payment is made.
Trip Insurance: Sunhost Offers Trip insurance underwritten by CSA TRAVEL PROTECTION and can be added at the time of booking or at final payment. We recommend you consider adding trip insurance to your bookings. Call SunHost at 800-997-1457 for quote. More information on TRIP INSURANCE
Reservations & Rates: One week reservations in the winter season (if available) and Holiday Weeks and Weekends are subject to a 5% premium over the normal rate and a $25 service charge. Rates do not include a service charge, departure fee or sales tax.
Groups: We do not accept Family reunions, Class reunions, large groups or wedding parties. A maximum of three units may be reserved by any one group.
Minimum Stays: Minimum stays vary by season, unit and complex. We offer a few units that allow 2 nights minimum, many with 3 nights and others that are 7 nights. During the winter season the minimum stay is normally 7 to 14 days, depending on the complex. Additionally, during holiday weeks our minimum stays range from 4 to 7 nights.
Check-In / Check-out: Check-in is 4:00 PM EST. Arrival prior to 4:00 PM may result in a delay in occupying your property. Every effort will be made to guarantee 4 p.m. check in, however, it is possible that the unit will not be available by 4:00 p.m. Check-out is 10:00 AM EST. Late check out must be approved by management. Approval by management for late check-out will only be granted if no one is checking into the unit on your departure date. Charge for late check out is normally a 1/2 days rental plus taxes.
Utilities: No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, water, cable, telephone service. Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible. The operation and maintenance of these utilities is out of the control of SunHost Resorts.
Internet Service: Internet Access, if provided, is a FREE guest amenity and neither SunHost Resorts, Complex Associations nor the unit owners accept liability stemming from the use or loss of use of the service. No compensation will be given for loss of internet access, if provided.
Parking: Parking is limited at all SunHost Resorts. Parking regulations vary from complex to complex. Beach Place & Las Brisas have NO visitor parking. Units at Beach Place and Las Brisas are limited to one assigned space. Most three bedroom units at Beach Place have 2 assigned spaces. City parking lots are located adjacent to or near most SunHost Resorts and discounted parking permits are available. You can contact the city at 727.391.9951 for additional parking info and pricing.
No Pets: Pets of any type are prohibited at any SunHost Resort and any SunHost managed unit. If any evidence of a pet is found in your unit or on the premises, you will be asked to vacate immediately and forfeit all rental payments.
Smoking: Surf Song Resort does not permit smoking inside any unit. Most other SunHost units are designated as non-smoking. Smoking in any unit designated as a non-smoking property will result in an additional charge of $350.
Damages: Any damages to unit or condominium property are the responsibility of the renter.
Use of Facilities: SunHost Resorts manages properties in a number of different complexes. You are entitled to use only the facilities at the property you are staying at. Visitor policies differ from complex to complex.
Furnishings: All properties are individually owned and furnished. No two properties are alike. No furniture is to be rearranged, nor are any items to be removed or taken to another property. No beach towels, beach chairs, toys or umbrellas are provided.
Hurricanes: If the National Weather Service issues a HURRICANE WARNING, not a tropical storm warning, and mandatory evacuation for the Madeira Beach or Redington area, registered guests are entitled to receive a refund of the rental balance as of the date of the warning.
Questions & Concerns: Any questions or concerns should be presented to management as soon as practical after check-in. Every effort will be made to address these matters immediately.
