Overview

GeckoFest returns for its 24th year as Gulfport’s most iconic end-of-summer celebration. Held annually over Labor Day weekend, this free street festival brings a vibrant mix of live music, street performances, costumed revelry, and community fun to the heart of Gulfport’s historic waterfront district.

Each year features a unique theme that inspires festivalgoers to come dressed in costume and fully embrace the spirit of the event. This year’s theme will be announced soon.

Lead-Up Events

  • Gecko Crawl – A lively pub crawl through Gulfport’s bar scene

  • Gecko Ball – A costumed evening of dancing, entertainment, and tradition
