St. Pete Pride 2025: Rooted in Community

St. Pete Pride returns in June 2025 under the theme "Rooted," a tribute to the strength, resilience, and deep roots of the LGBTQIA+ community in St. Petersburg. As Florida’s largest LGBTQIA+ celebration, the festival spans the entire month, offering a wide range of events that uplift and unite the community through culture, performance, and activism.

The month begins with the Kickoff Party on June 1, setting the tone with music, dancing, and community celebration in the heart of St. Pete. On June 7, Youth Pride and Family Day will take place at North Straub Park, offering an inclusive and welcoming space for families with children of all ages. The Stonewall Reception on June 12 honors LGBTQ+ history and leadership in a more formal gathering.

On June 14, Get Nude: La Fête Noire will celebrate Black Queer culture through art, dance, and live performances. This is followed by Transtastic on June 18 at The James Museum, a showcase dedicated to the creativity and voices of Trans and Non-Binary individuals. The comedy spotlight shines on June 21 at the Museum of Fine Arts during Womyn in Comedy, an evening of laughter featuring Queer Womyn performers.

June 27 brings the Friday Night Concert to Jannus Live, featuring headline performances in a high-energy musical celebration. The festival’s centerpiece, Parade Day, takes place on June 28 along the waterfront at North and South Straub Parks, complete with a dazzling parade, entertainment, food, and community booths from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The festivities conclude on June 29 with the Street Fair in the Grand Central District, a daytime event featuring local vendors, performers, and family-friendly activities.

In addition to its signature events, St. Pete Pride now offers year-round programming like Drag Bingo and Open Mic nights, building community beyond the month of June.
