Madeira Beach Vacation Tips

What better way to ring in the summer season than with a trip to the John’s Pass and Madeira Beach areas? We have a ton going on during Memorial Day Weekend, and there is sure to be something that sparks your interest whether you come every year or it’s your very first visit.

For those looking to experience a bit of culture and fine art, there are 3 very special events happening during Memorial Day Weekend that are sure to provide memories that will last a lifetime. The first is Mimosas & Masterpieces happening each Sunday from May the 5th through August 25th. Located at the Dali Museum, Mimosas & Masterpieces is a brunch that allows you to sip, sample, and experience all of the incredible works of the world famous Dali Museum. Next is the Clearwater Music & Arts Festival, which hosts national recording artists and fine artists during an admission-free weekend on May 25th and 26th. Going from 11am to 10pm, it’s sure to provide a full day of fun. Last is the A Feast for the Eyes Exhibition located at the Museum of Fine Arts St. Pete, featuring 40 of the finest Old Master paintings.

If sports are what you’re after, there’s plenty of that going on as well! The Tampa Bay Rays take on the Toronto Blue Jays at 1:10 pm on May 27th, right here at Tropicana Field. If you’re looking for more than just one game, the AAC Baseball Championship will be held from May 21st through the 26th with a round-robin style tournament for the American Athletic Conference. If soccer is your sport, the Tampa Bay Rowdies are taking on the Swope Park Rangers on May 25th at 7:30pm.
